MYL celebrates its 30th Foundation Day

Ceremonies were held across the country to mark the 30th foundation day of Minhaj Youth League (MYL). The central celebration ceremony took place at the secretariat of MQI in which the cakes were cut and tributes were offered to the workers who braved hardships but their loyalty to the cause of peace did not waver. Duas were also made for martyrs of Model town and peace and progress of the country.

Addressing the central ceremony in Model Town, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the youth will have to play their role proactively for progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He said that the youth are the backbone of any country and it is on they who carry the future of their countries on the shoulders. He said that moral and spiritual training of the youth in this day and age of materialism is the dire need of the hour. He said that right from the first day, MYL has been contributing its share in promoting Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s message of peace and knowledge and interfaith harmony in the world. He said that MYL has provided an amazing platform to the youth of the country under the leadership of Dr Qadri through which they can make very positive contributions to educational and socio-economic development of Pakistan.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that MYL is a model youth organization that has not been involved in any illegal activity since its formation 30 years ago. He said that excellence of character, love and morality are the distinguishing feature of the MYL. He said that the youth organization has shown amazing dedication to the idea of youth empowerment. He said that it always rose up to the expectations of the leadership.

Speaking on the occasion, central President MYL Mazhar Mahmood Alvi said that MYL has been at the forefront of the caravan of peaceful change. He said that we have always struggled to promote the message of tolerance, love and respect. He said that this day marked 30 years since the struggle was initiated under the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that under the platform of MYL, the youth are taking part in resolving the problems facing the people at different levels. They said that they highlight the issues faced by the people and then involve community on the idea of self-help basis.

Noorullah Siddiqi, Jawad Hamid, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Mansoor Qasim Awan, Muhammad Tayyib Zia, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Chaudhry Afzal Gujjar, Haji Farrukh, Umar Awan, Asmat Ali, Amjad Chand and Inam Mustafavi also addressed the main ceremony.

The cake was cut at the conclusion of the ceremony followed by Dua.
